Reginald (Reg) Henry Cayuga Language Award

This award is presented to a full or part-time Native University Program student in a Cayuga Language course who strives to maintain and preserve the Cayuga language.


Harvey Longboat Sr. Memorial Scholarship

The Harvey E. Longboat Sr. Memorial Scholarship is presented to a student at Six Nations Polytechnic who is a full time student in the Native University Program and strives to maintain a vision of excellence in their post-secondary studies as well as achieves academic excellence.

Aboriginal Institutes' Consortium Awards

The Aboriginal Institute's Consortium (AIC) is pleased to introduce Instructor Awards to acknowledge exemplary service performed by instructors, and students through high level of commitment to successful program delivery and student achievement in a member Aboriginal institution.

Dr. Dawn Martin-Hill
Dr. Dawn Martin-Hill

Dr. Dawn Martin-Hill (Mohawk, Wolf Clan) holds a PhD in Cultural Anthropology and is one of the original founders of the Indigenous Studies Program at McMaster University, where she is currently the Academic Director. Dawn has been an instructor for Six Nations Polytechnic's Native University Access Program for a number of years and has received exceptional reviews by our students as to her teaching capabilities. Students have spoken very highly of her teaching methodologies as well as her knowledge of Indigenous issues and concerns. Dawn has been an influence on students in preparing them for the challenges of completing their university education.

More importantly, Dawn provides a strong link between McMaster University and Six Nations Polytechnic and the Six Nations community. Dawn has been very instrumental in the development of this institution from its inception and continues to work towards a solidified and stronger partnership between McMaster University and the future growth of Six Nations Polytechnic.

Watson Parojcic Many Nations Bursary

Watson Parojcic Many Nations is the southern Ontario agency for Many Nations Financial Services. Many local Six Nations organizations have come to rely on and trust them with their insurance and pension needs. Geordie Watson and Ilija Parojcic are committed to promoting academic excellence and perseverance in students in attending the college programs at Six Nations Polytechnic. As such, they are pleased to offer something back to the community in three monetary student awards for highest academic achievement.
