Contract Training Services

Six Nations Polytechnic offers contract training and professional development workshops to any agency, organization or institution that wishes to provide specialized services to clients, deliver community based programs and/or upgrade the skills and knowledge of their staff.  This service includes program development, curriculum adaptation for culturally specific content and provision of instruction in any community or organization.

Cultural Diversity

This workshop will offer participants the opportunity to engage in meaningful interaction and dialogue about culture and cultural differences.

The Hodinohso:ni of the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory consists of the Seneca, Tuscarora, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida and Mohawk Nations.  While there are other visiting nations located on the Grand River Territory, the treaties and land allocations are for the Six Nations identified.  There are approximately 10,000 First Nations peoples living on reserve and approximately 10,000 people living off reserve in urban centres.   There are two forms of government on Six Nations – the Confederacy Chiefs and the Six Nations Band Council – Learn more about the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory.
