Closure Updates

  • Six Nations Polytechnic campuses are currently closed until further notice.
  • We have implemented revised business hours: Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Post Secondary/Trades Program Updates

  • All Winter term post-secondary courses are on track to finish and will be delivered in alternative formats. All in-person classes have been suspended until further notice
  • All student placements have been suspended; Alternative placement plans are being explored and students will be contacted with updates
  • Admissions and applications for Fall term programs are still active

  • Postponed-Pre-Apprenticeship Cook (full-time)
  • Postponed-Pre-Apprenticeship Welder (full-time)
  • Suspended-Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Prevention (Term 2)
  • Suspended-Mental Health and Disabilities Management (Term 3)

Student Support Services

We continue to look at ways to support students with technical challenges to complete their studies. Student Affairs

  1. The deadline to withdraw from courses or programs has been further extended to April 18
  2. Please email your instructors immediately if you have not received plans for course completion
  3. If you are having log-in difficulty with Brightspace, please email itsupport@snpolytechnic.com
  4. The SNP 2020 Spring Convocation and Annual Celebration has been postponed until further notice
  5. Language degree students who are Approved to Graduate in May will have their Bachelor of Arts degree conferred in absentia

SNP STEAM Academy Closure

  • Course work will resume on April 6th, via online and alternative delivery methods
  • The campus remains closed until at least May 4th.
  • Educational Assistants and our Social Counsellor will be available to support students online Monday to Thursday.
  • Midterm report cards will be emailed out to parents by April 17th.
  • Final report cards will also be emailed and or mailed out by June 30th.
