SNP STEAM Academy Moves March Break to April 12-16, 2021
On February 11, 2021, Stephen Lecce, Ontario’s Minister of Education announced the decision to postpone March break until April 12-16, 2021 for public schools in Ontario. This decision was based on advice from the Chief Medical Office of Health and made in effort to reduce community transmission of COVID-19 and the potential for emerging new variants.
The SNP STEAM Academy has made the decision to also postpone March Break until the week of April 12-16, 2021. This decision was based on the move by the province, along with input gathered from a survey completed by parents, staff, and students.
While we recognize that the decision to postpone March break may be disappointing for some, we felt it was important to engage SNP’s learning community of parents, staff, and students to collectively determine the best decision for our school.
