Six Nations Polytechnic can’t wait to welcome you to classes come September, so we are inviting all students to BRIGHT Start. Information-packed, preparatory mini-sessions have been scheduled a week in advance of your start date, from August 28 to September 1. Get off to a bright start and attend BRIGHT Start at Six Nations Polytechnic.

Created by Indigenous Institutes and Training Centers across Ontario, these one-hour sessions will cover the following themes:

  • Belonging, identity, and Indigenous Culture
  • Resilience and Empowerment
  • Indigenous Ways of Knowing
  • Goal Setting and Personal Growth
  • Holistic Wellness and Ways of Being
  • Transition Support for College and University

BRIGHT Start will illuminate your path, as you enter the next exciting phase of your learning journey, providing essential tips and tools to help you prepare for your college or university program. Choose from several dates and times at either the Brantford or Ohsweken Campus:

Meet other students and get acquainted with our friendly SNP staff whose sole purpose is to encourage, support and make your time learning at Six Nations Polytechnic an enjoyable and enriching one.

Prizes and Giveaways/Free Refreshments

For each one-hour session you attend, you will be awarded an SNP digital badge and your name will automatically be entered into a draw for one of our newly designed, Six Nations Polytechnic Sweatshirts and other SNP merchandise.

Students attending sessions will continue to be entered into weekly prize draws throughout the month of September.
