For Immediate Release: SNP STEAM Academy will learn remotely April 19-23

April 8, 2021

Yesterday, the Ontario government declared a state of emergency and announced a new stay-at-home order that will take effect on Thursday, April 8, 2021. This order did not extend to schools in our area. We remain dually concerned about the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation in the province, along with the critical need for in-person classes to support the learning and mental health needs of our students. As a result, we have made the difficult decision that the SNP STEAM Academy will revert to remote learning for the week following spring break. Details of our current closures are listed below:

Spring break-no classes
All classes will run remotely
In-class learning returns for those students that selected this option

SNP Brantford Campus-Staff access for priority matters, by request. College/trades programs will continue with limited pre-scheduled on-site programming.

SNP’s Ohsweken Campus-Closed to the public, staff access for priority matters by request.
