NEW AND EXCITING THIS YEAR: Welding Level 1 Apprenticeship Program

STEAM Academy students have the opportunity during the second semester to participate in the welding level 1 apprenticeship program through Six Nations Polytechnic:

OYAP Level 1 Apprenticeship - Welder 456A

End Date: May 1, 2024
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
No classes: Feb 19, Mar 11-15, Mar 29, April 1

This classroom training is a blend of practical lessons and theory and is the first level in the apprenticeship pathway if the student completes the required work hours and goes on to have an employer sponsor in the field after high school, this training counts towards that apprenticeship!

Students will require CSA approved steel toe boots, and non-synthetic clothes (long sleeves and pants). We have helmets, jackets, and safety glasses they can use.
