Artisan Series - Textile Arts: Ribbon Dress

Through this introductory sewing course, students will learn the basic construction of a ribbon dress, sewing basics, basic operations of a sewing machine, following a pattern, and ribbon appliqué. This course is designed for those new to dressmaking, therefore, basic construction of a simple dress will be the focus over the course of three days. Collars, cuffs, and zippers will not be taught.

  • Students will be required to bring their own fabric & ribbon. All other materials, equipment, and notions will be provided

Delivery Dates: Sat. May 5, Sun. May 6 and Sat. May 12 from 9:30am - 1:30pm each day.

Location: Classroom B (Lower Level), Six Nations Campus

Workshop Fee: $90.00

Payment Deadline: May 2, 2018

Payments can be made in-person at the Six Nations Campus’ reception office by credit card or cash. (Hours of Operation: 8:30am – 4:00pm)
