Six Nations Polytechnic (SNP) and SNP STEAM Academy were proud to honour four graduates from the Mathias Colomb Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba with small tokens of recognition, celebrating their remarkable achievement in earning their high school diplomas.

These students were displaced from their community due to wildfires and relocated to Niagara Falls for safety. Despite the disruption and adversity they faced, they showed resilience and determination in completing their education.

The Six Nations Elected Council hosted a celebration ceremony to recognize their hard work and dedication. It was a heartfelt gesture to acknowledge their success and offer a moment of joy during this challenging time.

We recognize how difficult this period must be for the community and hope this celebration brings a sense of encouragement and support as they await their return home.
